Manchester United midfielder Anderson says their 4-1 home humiliation by Liverpool was simply a blip.

He said: "The defeat by Liverpool at Old Trafford was a simple accident along the way.

"It isn't possible to win every game. Arsenal are not easy to beat and after our Champions League success in London they want revenge.

"It all adds extra interest to a match I think we will win. And to be able to celebrate the title at home is sensational.

"We need one point but our challenge is to obtain the victory and to dedicate it to our fans.

"United are the best team this season - and not only in the league. Two trophies, the final of the Champions League to come and a place in the semi-final of the FA Cup is not down to good luck.

"There is never a comfortable match in this League. Everyone wants to defeat us at Old Trafford because we are the champions and the best in England."
