Manchester United midfielder Anderson played 45 minutes in yesterday's reserve-team victory over Manchester City.
The Brazilian midfielder called the tune during his first half outing, pulling the strings in United's revolving attack and also tracking back to muck in with the Reds' defenders.
A timely boost for Anderson ahead of Sunday's Carling Cup final, then, and another impressive performance from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's young side, who have now posted three successive league victories.
