Manchester United youth Sean Goss is on the verge of finally returning to action from his back problem.
The 21-year-old is set to be a part of Warren Joyce's side that will travel to North London to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League 2 on Friday.
Goss has been struggling with his fitness since injuring his back in December, and despite featured in a pre-season game against Port Vale, soon after suffered a setback in his recovery.
"When last season started I was as happy as I could be with where my football was at. I'd been involved in the first team and progressing well, but you never know what's round the corner and it's been a tough year," Goss told MUTV.
"I had a lengthy rehab period where I had to rest, before gradually introducing running and gym work.
"It was a slow build-up to getting back to training and, annoyingly, I had a niggling problem that set me back even further and was very frustrating. You've just got to look to the future and concentrate on emerging as a stronger person."
