Sir Alex Ferguson says that Paul Pogba is on the verge of breaking into the Manchester United first team.
The France U19 international midfielder has been impressive in his early performances this season and Ferguson insists he could be in action when the Red Devils meet Leeds United in the Carling Cup third round on September 20.
"Pogba's in the first-team training set-up now. So that's the first step," Fergie told Inside United.
"After that, it'll likely depend on when we decide to make changes. He'll probably be involved in the League Cup and that'll be his chance to establish himself in the squad."
