Man Utd youngster Corry Evans: Cup football not enough for me

Manchester United midfielder Corry Evans admits he doesn't see the Carling Cup as a chance at first team football.

Evans was on the bench for United's win at Scunthorpe United.

"When you look at the size of the squad and the players who aren't getting a game in the Premier League then you have doubts about whether you'll play in the Carling Cup," he told the Belfast Telegraph.

"Darron Gibson and Anderson haven't been playing in the league and giving them game time will be the manager's priority."
