Manchester United teenager Andreas Periera is confident that he can break into the senior squad next season despite the recent signing of Memphis Depay.
The Brazilian recently committed his future to the Red Devils and is now looking forward to making an impact despite the strong competition for places in Louis van Gaal's line-up.
The 19-year-old said he is confident in his own ability despite the fact the club spent £25million on Dutch winger Depay.
"I am not worried about that," he said when asked about Depay's arrival at the club.
"I like to have a challenge. I am not scared of the challenge. I know it will be hard. Some of the best players in the world are in the team.
"But I have confidence in myself and if I keep doing the things I am doing now, I think I will achieve it. I know there are world class players but I have faith in my ability."
