Manchester United won't be parading the Premier League trophy at Manchester City should they have the title wrapped up by the April 30 derby.
Sir Alex Ferguson's players could confirm the club's 20th Premier League championship at the Etihad if the sides match each other's points up to the derby meeting.
Although United have been presented with the trophy at Goodison Park and the Riverside Stadium in the past, there are no plans to deviate from the current format of crowning the champions in their final home game or, should it be necessary, at the venue of their final fixture.
A Premier League spokesperson told the Telegraph: "There are no plans for there to be a trophy presentation on April 30, should the title race be decided. The preference is always to present the trophy at a home game."
