Man Utd won't drop pursuit of new Anderlecht junior signing Hamidu Imran

Manchester United won't drop their pursuit of new Anderlecht junior signing Hamidu Imran.

Imran, 11, chose to sign with Anderlecht this week, despite fielding serious interest from United.

The junior striker has been likened to Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, currently on-loan with Anderlecht.

The Daily Mail says United will continue to monitor his progress in Belgium and have not given up on signing him in the future, as they did in taking Adnan Januzaj from Anderlecht two-and-a-half years ago.

United waited until Januzaj had turned 16 and the Belgian club were powerless to keep him before tempting him with a lucrative offer.
