Manchester United winger Ashley Young has admitted frustration at missing a large chunk of the season so far.
Young wants to make up for lost time after two months out in the autumn.
He said: "When I was at Aston Villa, I barely missed a match so I've found these periods when I've been out very difficult to take.
"As a footballer you always want to be playing. It is never nice when you are on the sidelines. I never realised how hard it was to keep yourself motivated when everybody else is out training and you are stuck inside doing rehab."
