Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia is chasing an amazing comeback.
The Mail on Sunday says United have received a boost with Valencia likely to return from a horror ankle injury three months ahead of schedule.
Valencia, ruled out for the season after being carried off against Rangers in September, is going through two gruelling rehab sessions a day at United's Carrington training complex rather than taking the opportunity to return home to Ecuador for a family trip.
A source confirmed: "Valencia's attitude has really impressed everyone.
"He could have gone home but he has put his recovery and the club before anything else.
"He is working extremely hard and believes he could be playing again as soon as mid-February."
