Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia apologsied to England's players after his dismissal during yesterday's 2-2 draw with Ecuador.
Valencia apologised to the England team for the over-reaction which earned him and Raheem Sterling red cards in the heat of Miami.
"'I am sorry for the fight with Sterling," said Manchester United winger Valencia. "I apologised to the team after the match and the coach.
"When he tackled me I thought about Segundo Castillo. He nearly missed the World Cup because of injury and I feared I would too, but thankfully I am OK."
