The agent of Manchester United winger Gabriel Obertan has cooled talk of a move to Rangers.

Obertan has been linked with a loan move to Ibrox.

His agent, Karim Djaziri, told Scotland's Evening Times: "Gabriel is going to stay with Manchester United next season.

"We spoke at length with the manager and the club at the end of last season and there wasn't any intention of him being loaned out to another club."
