Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley was proud of his role in Wigan Athletic's Premier League survival.
The last day drama at the Britannia Stadium was a magnificent moment for Cleverley.
He told the club's website: "I was buzzing, so were the rest of the lads. All we could we could do was win and we did just that.
"At the end we weren't quite sure if we'd done it, but when the news came through it was the best moment of my career - absolutely the best."
