Arsenal forward Theo Walcott was delighted with the comfortable 3-0 win over Manchester United, believing it will send a message to the rest of the Premier League.
The Gunners were criticised for their midweek loss against Olympiakos and Walcott believes that team's positive response against United proves that they are a force to be reckoned with this season.
"You could sense from kick-off the desire was there," he told Sky Sports.
"That was all for the manager without a doubt. We spoke to each other as players and wanted to do this for the fans.
"It was an unbelievable 25 minutes period, no one could have dealt with us.
"It's the best football I have been involved in. That was the Arsenal of old, everything seemed to click.
"We're always going to score goals, it sends out a message to the Premier League that we're here to be recognised."
