Manchester United have joined the interest in Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes.

The Argentine youngster has confirmed contact with Real Madrid and Juventus in recent days, expressing an ambition to play in Italy.

However, Gazeta says United are also keen and prepared to enter a bidding war with Real and Juve for Paredes.

The 23 year-old is ready to leave Zenit this summer - though doesn't wish to make a final decision until after the World Cup.

In 22 games this season, Paredes has scored three goals and created two assists.
