Manchester United are willing to sell Robin van Persie this summer for a knockdown £15 million.
The People says United boss David Moyes is ready to cut his losses on the Dutchman, who has looked a shadow of the player who fired United to the title last season.
Van Persie cost United £24million when he moved from Arsenal and United would be looking to recoup £15m - although they may be lucky to get that for a 30-year-old.
Another stumbling block is the salary of £180,000 a week pocketed by the striker, who is only halfway through a four-year deal.
