The Daily Express says new manager Louis van Gaal moved to sign a number of attackers over the summer, including Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao, and clearly sees no future for Nani at Old Trafford.
It had been suggested that the Red Devils were preparing a money-plus-player deal for Sporting anchorman William Carvalho, but reports claim that the Portuguese outfit are unable to match Nani's excessive weekly wages.
United will now officially list the midfielder for transfer in the hope that a club will take him off their hands, with teams from Russia and Italy interested in securing his signature.
