Man Utd willing to listen to Sunderland offer for O'Shea

Sunderland boss Roy Keane is chasing Manchester United defender John O'Shea.

The People says United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and his backroom staff do not feel O'Shea is progressing as much as they would like and Keane is ready to pounce.

United legend Keane returned to his old stamping ground to recruit Kieran Richardson and Liam Miller.

He has also taken Jonny Evans on loan and another of his former Old Trafford pals, Dwight Yorke, has also joined him in the north-east where defender Danny Simpson enjoyed a loan spell last term.

Now Keano fancies adding Ireland defender O'Shea to a long list of former United stars at the Stadium of Light.
