Manchester United are prepared to sell Alexander Buttner next month.

The People says the Dutch left-back, 24, who arrived from Vitesse Arnhem in a £5million deal just 16 months ago, is on course to move to Italy.

Both AS Roma and Genoa are interested in signing him, although both would prefer to take him on loan for the remainder of the season before deciding whether to commit to a permanent deal.
