Manchester United boss David Moyes is ready to offer £20 million for Southampton fullback Luke Shaw. The Telegraph says while Moyes remains an admirer of Everton defender Leighton Baines, the Scot is ready to abandon his interest in the England full-back following two unsuccessful bids during the summer.
Shaw, who signed a five-year contract at St Mary's in July, is also a target of Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, who regards the youngster as a long-term successor to Ashley Cole.
United have repeatedly scouted Shaw this season, however, and are prepared to test Southampton's resolve with a bid next month.
