Manchester United are entering the race for Douglas Costa, if Juventus cannot agree a fee with Bayern Munich.
Costa spent the past season on loan at Juventus, with Bayern not inclined to take him back as part of their squad for next season.
Juventus have not agreed a fee with Bayern to sign him permanently either. And The Sun reports that United could go as high as £79 million for the winger if the opportunity presents itself.
The 27-year-old took a few months to get settled in Turin, but he emerged as a key player for Juventus by the end of the season. He managed 4 goals and 12 assists in his Serie A appearances.
It would cost Juventus a further £33 million to sign him permanently. If they refuse, Bayern can entertain bids on the open market.
