Man Utd will cover £120 Russia visa cost for Rostov trip

Manchester United have committed to covering the costs of Russian visas for fans travelling to the Rostov Europa League away tie.

The Red Devils meet the Russian Premier League club at the Olimp-2 stadium in Rostov-on-Don in the Round of 16 first leg on March 9.

All Brits travelling to Russia will need to fork out a £118.20 processing fee which, according to the Daily Mail, United have agreed to pay for.

United fans will need to arrange their own visa documents but as a gesture of goodwill, the visa fee will be compensated by the club as the remainder of the trip may end up being costly.

The Mail report reads: "Supporters successful in the ballot for the match have been asked to supply their travel details by 8pm on Wednesday and will have their tickets posted out as soon as they arrive from Rostov.

"Those who are leaving early can ask for them to be sent to their hotel.

"…as there is now a visa application centre in Manchester, supporters will need to arrange their own documents.

"Fans can then send a receipt for their visa and the club will contact them to arrange a refund."Pick existing
