Dwight Yorke is of the belief that former club Manchester United will have only two real rivals for next season's Premier League title.
The ex-Trinidad & Tobago international knows very well that the current United squad is not as strong as years gone by but he believes that only reigning champions Manchester City and Champions League winners Chelsea are the main threats.
tribalfootball.com caught up with Yorke at the opening of the Mizuno Performance Centre in London yesterday and asked the 1999 treble winner how he thinks United are placed for a shot at a 20th premiership.
"The club is always in a good position. The squad they have now are a bunch of young guys who are there for a duration of time and I can only see them getting better and stronger, fitter and more equipped to what Manchester United is all about," he said.
"There might be a little bit of a circle in terms of not really being the force that is used to dominating the league and it might take a year or two but after that period of time I'm expecting them to dominate the football world again
"I think that's what Sir Alex Ferguson is so good at, he sees the bigger picture, not an immediate fix. We didn't win the season this year and it's no big deal but rest assured in the next five years that they will win it three or four times.
"I think that's what people fail to understand where (Manchester) City will go and immediately buy players. It's great for the city of Manchester that City are doing great and it's exciting.
"Chelsea, with what they have done this year with the Champions League and FA Cup, you can't write them off.
"They are expected to be up there so those are the three I would be seeing to push to win the league this season."
