Man Utd whiz Rashford follows Ronaldo installing cryotherapy chamber in new home

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is following Cristiano Ronaldo's lead by installing a cryotherapy chamber in his new luxury home.

It's been added to the gym at his £1.85 million six-bedroom mansion he has just moved into after overseeing its development.

The sprawling property in Bowdon, Cheshire, also features an open plan kitchen, four reception rooms, and a double garage which houses his gym.

A source told The Sun: “Marcus is a top athlete and is deadly serious about his football career.

He's leaving nothing to chance and wants to start this season firing on all cylinders.

“He has a gym at home and is very interested in how he can best look after himself off the pitch.

“It's a lot of money to spend, but if it gives him that extra one per cent in his career he thinks it'll be worth it."

Cryotherapy works by exposing the body to extreme temperatures as low as -160C to provoke a process of muscle regeneration and immune-system stimulation.

The treatment also allows players to train with greater intensity, reduce muscle soreness, aid sleep and provide an exhilarating post-chamber sensation.
