Manchester United expect Angel Gomes to be fit for next week's FA Youth Cup tie with Derby County.
His involvement looked in doubt when he was withdrawn with a knee injury in the first half of United's Under-19 win over CSKA Moscow on Tuesday, but academy director Nicky Butt has revealed it is not a serious problem.
"He got a knock on the knee," Butt told MUTV.
"I don't think it's too serious and it's just a case of okay, we won't risk it. He was feeling it a little bit and we had a lot of the players on the bench ready to come on and take his place. It's not worth risking it when that's the case."
