Ex-Manchester United star Gary Neville believes that his former side are in a strong position to earn another good result when they square off against Chelsea this weekend.

United took another massive step towards their recovery process this season after claiming a comprehensive 4-2 victory over Manchester City on Sunday.

The Red Devils now prepare for another massive test of their credentials when they travel to Stamford Bridge to take on the Premier League leaders but despite the daunting task ahead, former captain Neville believes that United can pull off another good result by overcoming the Blues.

"The tests have been Liverpool and City," he told Press Association Sport. "This is another test. They have proven themselves, but this is the best team in the country and to go to Stamford Bridge is the toughest test.

"The performances from United in the past month have been absolutely outstanding in any season. Forget the fact that in this season they are not going to win the league, in any season the level of performance they have shown in this last month has been of a hard standard."
