Manchester United are watching Napoli midfielder Jorginho.
The Manchester Evening News says United are admirers of the 26-year-old Italy international and have shortlisted Jorginho as a potential midfield recruit ahead of next season. United have already scouted Borussia Dortmund duo Julian Weigl and Christian Pulisic.
Holding midfielder Jorginho scored in Napoli's 4-2 Champions League defeat to Manchester City and was dubbed 'wonderful' by Pep Guardiola.
United manager Jose Mourinho wants to sign a central midfielder in the January transfer window but Jorginho would be cup-tied in Europe, having played in the Champions League.
Jorginho has started 15 of Napoli's 18 Serie A fixtures in defensive midfield, scoring twice and providing three assists.
