Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs believes Swansea City can improve on their ninth placed position of last season. The 39-year-old told <>Sport Wales: "They can do better than ninth. I've been impressed with Swansea.

"It's always hard for teams that come up and the first thing is survival and then stabilise the club."

He added: "You've seen that over the years.

"The likes of Stoke have done really well in the Premier League a number years now and Swansea look the same sort of team where they're a really stable club."
