Manchester United player-coach Ryan Giggs hopes to see action today at Cardiff City.
It would be the first time the 39-year-old had played in a club fixture in the city of his birth, during his Old Trafford career which spans right back to 1991.
Giggs told the Guardian: "For me to play in my home city, and hopefully start, it would be brilliant.
"It's emotional. I never thought it would happen that I'd play at Cardiff.
"My mum texted me the other day: 'I need five tickets for Sunday'. 'Oh, all right! Ok!' It's great."
