Man Utd veteran Giggs providing Ferguson with selection headache

Manchester United great Ryan Giggs admits he doesn't mind providing a headache for manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

The 39-year old Welshman made his 999th appearance on the weekend and marked the achievement with a goal in the 2-0 victory at QPR and he says he is planning to continue his good recent form in order to push for more regular selection.

"It is a headache for the manager but a good one," said Giggs. "We are not looking too far ahead and we are not getting too excited.

"But we are in good form and the manager has a big squad to choose from, which allows him to chop and change and that is all you can ask for at this stage."
