Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs is excited by the prospect of seeing Cardiff City and Swansea City in the Premier League.

Cardiff-born Giggs will be an interested observer when the football fixtures - published on June 19 - reveal the dates of the first South Wales derbies to be contested in the top flight.

"It will be tasty!" he told the South Wales Echo. "They've played each other in the Championship but this is on the biggest stage. There's a massive rivalry between the two teams so the stakes are even higher now that Premier League points will be on offer."
