Giggs stresses he is coping with his new player-coach role.
He said: “I’ve not found a problem with it, although you’re probably best asking the players. I hope they don’t feel any differently. I’ve tried to balance it and I try to help the players as I did before joining the staff.
“I enjoy coaching. I enjoy being in the meetings, seeing David Moyes’ preparations. He’s been brilliant with me and I have enjoyed learning from a really good manager.
“As a player, I really enjoyed the Real Sociedad game the other night.
“I’ve always appreciated Champions League nights – they are special no matter who you play.”
