Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs was delighted to come through the festive period unbeaten.
Giggs was quick to praise Sir Alex Ferguson for the way he has managed to keep the team fresh during a spell of four games in ten games.
"We've got a good squad and the manager has rotated things right for the games. We looked fresh against Wigan and that's credit to the manager," said the veteran.
"You never know what you're going to get when you've got four games in ten days when it comes to injuries and fatigue, and you have to take your hat off to players like Carras [Michael Carrick] and Patrice [Evra] who have played in every game and worked really hard."
