Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has no regrets retiring from England.
Ferdinand quit in May, just two months after being recalled by the England coach for the World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Montenegro.
"I think that that ship has sailed, and everyone's happy with that and the decision," he told the London Evening Standard. "All parties are now moving in different directions."
Asked if he could be coaxed out of retirement by a call from Roy Hodgson, he added: "I don't think I would."
