Manchester United are exploring the prospect of prising Cristiano Ronaldo AND Gareth Bale away from Real Madrid. United have seen a host of stars - from David Beckham to Ruud van Nistelrooy to Cristiano Ronaldo - jump ship for the Bernabeu in recent times.
But now with the benefit of the EPL's record £5.1 billion TV deal, United intend to turn the tables on Real.
The Daily Express says they're now ready to revive their interest in Bale from two summers ago.
And the same goes for Ronaldo, whose love affair with Real appears to have become increasingly strained in recent times.
Certainly, if it is purely a question of money the tables appear to be turning and it seems a triumphant return to Old Trafford can not be entirely ruled out.
