Man Utd urged to hold onto Giggs post-retirement

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs is being tipped for a successful coaching career.

Former United youth director - and former Wales assistant manager - Eric Harrison said: "When the day comes for Ryan to finish, and it's a while away yet, he will be great as an ambassador or as a coach because he has always been prepared to help younger players out.

"Ryan is a fantastic role model for kids. His behaviour is impeccable.

"When he was with Wales, for example, if ever a new player came in and joined the squad he would be straight over there offering advice and help.

"As a player, his has been a God-given talent. He has natural pace and balance and that is something you are either born with or you are not. You cannot teach that. He has looked after himself very well over the years and that shows now.

"I'm not surprised that he has adapted his game and that he has shown himself able to play in the centre of midfield now.

"He has always had that intelligence and the capacity to learn and absorb things very quickly."
