Manchester United will not get rid of Nani despite yesterday's signing of Ashley Young from Aston Villa.
The Portuguese winger has been loosely linked with an Old Trafford departure since Young signed a five-year deal, joining for a fee of around £16million, but it has been reported that he will almost certainly remain at the club next term.
Nani dropped out of Sir Alex Ferguson's line-up towards the end of last season, following the return of Antonio Valencia, and he has aired his thoughts about the situation, indicating he could be on his way out.
But it has since been revealed that United do not want to lose any key men, especially last season's Player of the Year, although it is likely that Darron Gibson and Wes Brown could be on their way to Sunderland.
