Manchester United risk losing star goalkeeper David De Gea this summer.
That is the opinion of Spanish football expert Guillem Balague who suggests the 25-year-old Spain international will leave Old Trafford for Real Madrid if the Red Devils fail to qualify for the Champions League this season.
De Gea was close to joining the Spanish giants last summer but a deal fell over at the last minute due to the late arrival of the required paperwork.
However, he could now land a dream transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu if United fall short in their top-four pursuit as Real are expected to return for his services despite the decent form of Keylor Navas, according to Balague.
"Keylor Navas has been one of the heroes for Real but earlier this season, the plan was to go back for De Gea - especially if United don't finish in the top four," Balague told Sky Sports.
