Manchester United U23 have been relegated from Division One of Premier League 2.
United saw their fate sealed by Derby's 1-0 victory over West Ham on Monday, a result which leaves United five points adrift of safety with just one game to go.
They had climbed off the foot of the table with a 1-1 draw at Manchester City on Friday, Indy Boonen cancelling out Lorenzo Gonzalez's opener at the Academy Stadium.
Sunderland's 4-1 victory over Leicester on Sunday, though, sent United tumbling back to the bottom and on the brink of relegation.
Derby then responded to lift themselves back out of the bottom two as Jayden Bogle's second-half goal was enough to earn all three points against the Hammers.
