Manchester United U21 coach Warren Joyce hailed the attitude of Chris Smalling for their 0-0 draw with Wolves.
The England defender played the full 90 in the stalemate.
"Chris Smalling's attitude was first class - he was throwing his head in and putting his body on the line - but higher up the pitch was where we needed a little more quality. It was a difficult night, a cold night, and the surface wasn't great but we need to be better than that," Joyce told MUTV.
