Manchester United thrashed Sunderland U18 7-0 on Saturday.

After an even start to the contest, Mason Greenwood broke the deadlock on 22 minutes before Aliou Traore doubled the Reds' lead on the stroke of half-time.

The second half was a procession as Neil Ryan's men fired in five goals. Traore grabbed his second on 55 minutes, before Charlie McCann really put the game out of sight by adding United's fourth goal on the hour mark.

Ethan Laird made it 5-0 and D'Mani Mellor got his name on the scoresheet before the impressive Greenwood doubled his tally and put the icing on the cake right at the death with a clinical, low drive into the corner.
