Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is having a serious rethink over the release of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
While Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola has spoken with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid over the past fortnight about taking on the Swede, Spanish sources are reporting Mourinho now is considering keeping hold of the striker.
Ibrahimovic is now entering the third month of his recovery from knee surgery.
And he again stunned medical observers last week with reports of him taking part in a beach soccer game in Ibiza, which was claimed by Juventus midfielder Riccardo Orsolini.
Don Balon says the developments are forcing a rethink for Mourinho, who is now leaning towards offering the centre-forward a new deal. It will be on less terms and with no playing guarantees, but an offer is now being considered by the United manager.
