Manchester United midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe admits he models his game on Paul Scholes.
Tunnicliffe is currently impressing on-loan at Peterborough United.
With Scholes taking on coaching duties at Carrington, everything is in place for Tunnicliffe to continue developing at London Road before working closely again with the Reds legend.
"Paul Scholes was a genius, the best midfielder in the world ever," Tunnicliffe told ManUtd.com. "I trained with him halfway through last season towards the end of his career.
"It'll be good when I go back to have him around Carrington. I want him to teach me everything. He's the master. Whatever he says goes as he knows exactly what he's talking about."
As there looks to be a dearth of players with his all-action style, the youngster is hoping he can succeed at the highest level.
"There seems to be a hole and it's one I'm looking to fill if I can," he stated. "Since I've been here, I've got better and better every day and it's about playing Championship football. I'm playing every day against men and everything is different.
"I like working for the team and can really get up and down and tackle. I like to think I have a bit more skill to my game though. It's nice to be known as a tenacious player who is willing to tackle but I want people to recognise me for my talent and footballing side of the game as well."
