Manchester United's Twitter account was hit by gremlins yesterday.
The Mirror says United's Twitter account underwent some bizarre goings-on on Monday evening as their account became protected and lost it's blue tick to prove its verified status.
The Red Devils have been on the social media platform since April 2012, during which time they have amassed 2.7million followers.
However, for some mysterious reason the account has become locked to those who don't follow the 20-time English champions.
It comes on the day that the club unveiled their new kit for the 2014-15 season complete with new shirt sponsor, Chevrolet.
