Manchester United boss David Moyes is eyeing Porto left-back Alex Sandro.

The Daily Express says Moyes twice tried to be reunited with left-back Leighton Baines in the summer, only to have both bids rejected by Everton.

And now it seems the Scot has admitted defeat by looking for elsewhere for alternatives.

He watched Atletico Madrid's 2-0 win over Porto from the stands last week and reports in Portugal suggest that Moyes was casting an eye over 22-year-old Sandro as a replacement for Patrice Evra.
