Manchester United are reportedly ready to swoop on Atletico Madrid's 19-year old goalkeeper David De Gea.
The club has been monitoring the Spain youth international for some time now as they continue their search for Edwin van der Sar's long term successor.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is hoping to bring the promising youngster to Old Trafford in January but will need to spend around £12million.
