Manchester United are watching Valenciennes pair Angelo Fulgini and Dayot Upamecano.
The Mirror says Valenciennes fullback Fulgini is in high demand, with Barcelona known to be chasing the 18-year-old despite their transfer ban.
Fulgini, who is a France U-19 international, is seen as a long-term prospect to bolster the Old Trafford club's defence.
United have also been in contact with Valenciennes over 16-year-old central defender Dayot Upamecano.
