Manchester United are considering a move for Juventus striker Michele Paolucci.

Paolucci spent last season with Ascoli and is wanted back at Juve for their return to Serie A.

United have monitored Paolucci's progress in the last 18 months and the young forward said recently: "I have grown up with (Alessandro) Del Piero and I will return to the Bianconero.

"But if (Sir Alex) Ferguson calls me to join Manchester United, it wouldn't take me a minute to make up my mind to go to England."
