Manchester United have been told to up their offer for Palermo defender Simon Kjaer.

The Daily Mail says there is no doubt that Manchester United rate the Dane and see him as a potential new recruit but at the moment they think his valuation is too high as Palermo want around £15million.

Kjaer is also wanted by Tottenham and Arsenal while, as ever, Manchester City have also expressed an interest.

United have put forward a bid but, as yet, it is too low for Palermo's liking and he may stay another season in Italy.
