Man Utd told £30M for Sevilla striker Fabiano

Manchester United must go to £30 million to land Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano.

Fabiano looks likely to remain at Sevilla - unless Sir Alex Ferguson offers £30million for the Brazilian.

Fabiano scored three goals during Brazil's World Cup campaign - which ended on Friday at the hands of Holland - and he has been on Ferguson's radar for some time.

The striker recently claimed he wanted to move to United and that playing alongside Wayne Rooney would be a "dream".

He has also spoken of his admiration for AC Milan, although the Italians have swiftly distanced themselves from a bid.

Fabiano, 29, has one year left on his Sevilla contract - meaning he could go for free next summer.

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido claims only a suitable offer, believed to be £30m, would be enough to make them listen.

He revealed: "I can see Fabiano staying. So far we have nothing on the table, but we don't want to have to reject ridiculous offers."
